Topics of Interest

SCAN 2027 welcomes original contributions on all aspects of scientific computing, computer arithmetic, and verified numerical computation. Topics include but are not limited to:

Computer-assisted proof in analysis
Verified / rigorous numerical computation
Infinite-dimensional dynamical systems
Nonlinear PDEs — existence and bifurcation
Semigroup theory and evolution equations
Newton–Kantorovich type methods
Interval arithmetic and validated numerics
Homoclinic & heteroclinic orbits
Chaos and connecting orbits in continua
Blow-up phenomena in PDEs
Fast-slow systems and tipping phenomena
Numerical methods for functional equations

Formats

Submission Types

Contributed Talk (20 min + 5 min Q&A): Original research not yet published in a journal. Authors are required to present in person.

Poster: Suitable for work in progress or recently published results. Posters will be on display throughout the conference with a dedicated session for discussion.

Note: submitting an abstract does not constitute registration. All presenters must also register for the conference.

Organizing a Minisymposium
